Yonex Astrox 88S Pro Badminton Racquet

The Yonex Astrox 88S Pro badminton racquet is for controlling players at the net, with good control and power, who play at the net and want accuracy and speed.  The88S Pro is a little shorter in the shaft than the 88S, therefore is a bit sharper and faster.

Using NAMB graphite, this makes the racquet stronger and more responsive.  This allows a high tension of 29lbs for greater control.

Featuring the Rotational Generator System, this allows the racquet to give you both good control and power.  Feeling like a balanced racquet in the hand, when attacking, the racquet feels more head heavy, giving you the extra power, without losing control.

The ability to generate good racquet speed without too much effort, allows a range of drop shots to be played with ease and precision.  This has a really solid feel.

• Energy Boost Cap - The new shape allows the shaft to flex and stabilizes the racquet face, therefore reducing shaft twisting and increasing control.
• Rotational Generator System + 2G-Nanomesh NEO - By applying the counterbalance theory, weight is distributed thoughout the grip end, frame top and the joint for maximum control, and smooth transition between powerful shots for rapid successive attacks.  The innovative graphite "2G-NANOMESH NEO" used in the shaft, characterised by its quick flex and snapback, maximises shot power and advances the performance of the Rotational Generator System.
• Nanometric - improving bonding strength between carbon fibres which allows the shaft to be 60% thinner than a conventional racquet, whilst retaining stiffness.
• Namd - a new dimension graphite material which improves the adhesion of the graphite fibres and resin by attaching nanomaterial directly to the graphite fibre. This produces a shaft that flexes and stores energy, delivering explosive force on impact with the shuttle.
• Isometric frame shape - Square shaped head designed to keep vertical strings at a similar length, to increase the sweet spot in all directions.
