Head Boom 26" 2026 Alternate Junior Tennis Racquet

The Head Boom Junior 26" 2026 Alternate is a lightweight junior racquet that brings the look and feel of the adult Boom family to younger players. It is based on the adult BOOM MP and MP L frames, scaled down to suit growing juniors who are stepping up to a longer racquet and ready to hit with more power and control.

The Alternate finish is a purple tonal design that sets it apart from the standard Boom Junior. Under the paint, the frame is built from graphite composite and is packed with Head's modern technologies. Hy-Bor, a material blend also used in aerospace, adds compressional strength to the shaft to maximise perceived stability and power, so juniors get a solid, confident response when they swing.

Auxetic 2.0 is designed to give real-time feedback on every shot, improving feel and accuracy so young players learn to control the ball earlier, while Graphene Inside places graphene in the frame to add strength and stability and improve energy transfer to the ball. The open 16x19 string pattern gives juniors plenty of spin and power for their size.
